The Department of Computer Science offers graduate programs leading to the
Ph.D. and Master of Science degrees with concentration in
networking,
distributed systems,
software engineering,
high performance scientific computing,
foundations of computing,
artificial intelligence,
or in an individual
tailored specialty such as multimedia collaboration.
The department offers two additional masters's degree options.
The computer engineering option, offered jointly with the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering and the computer information
science option, offered jointly with the Department of Management Information
Systems.
Applicants should take the GRE aptitude test, and for international
students, a TOEFL score of at least 550 is required.
