Prerequisites

Knowledge in the following areas is required for the admission to the program:

1. Analysis of algorithms

2. Automata and formal languages

3. Database systems

4. Data communication

5. Operating systems

Applicants lacking any of these prerequisites may be accepted but will be required to make up all deficiencies within the first year by taking the appropriate courses chosen by the Graduate Studies Committee.
