Certification Programs at Old Dominion University
Certification provides credentials for,
and a direct path to, job opportunities. However the
traditional bachelor's degree provides more depth, breadth and flexibility to
graduates, as well as preparing them for wider career
opportunities.

Oracle certification background
is available through the Computer Science or the Information Systems
program. This background may be obtained as part of the degree programs or
independent of the degree program in some cases. (See web and phone information
above.)

Cisco certification
background is available through the Computer Science program. (See web and
phone information above.)
Note: ODU Computer Science Department does not award certifications, nor does it coordinate certification exams. Student completing our course sequences, however, will be prepared to take the exam.
