Abnormally high temperature in E&CS. The main building chiller for Engineering & Computational Sciences tripped off yesterday.

Facility Management is investigating the issue. The mechanical problems are being worked on, but E&CS will not have main building air conditioning until repairs can be made. Fortunately with cooler temps on the way this should not be a major problem.

The work to open up the chiller and assess the problem is likely to run into early next week. No assessment on how long it will take to repair the equipment can be made at this point.
