Stephen Eleyet graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Old Dominion in December of 2003. Prior to attending ODU, Steve spent twenty years in the United States Navy, taking college classes part-time. After retiring from the service in the Summer of 2002, he enrolled as a full-time student to finish up his studies.
His work in the military revolved around aviation maintenance where he worked on several platforms, including the F-4, F-14, and F/A-18 aircraft. During his career, he held the positions of Technician, Technical Instructor, Quality Assurance Inspector, Program Manager, Technical Advisor, and Maintenance Manager.
Steve plans to draw on his technical background and ODU education to pursue a career in Computer Science. His primary interests include large-scale software development and database management systems.
