Mahmoud Abu-Elala

Mahmoud Abu-Elala obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Science in 1999 from the College of Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt. Because of his high academic performance he was appointed as a teaching assistant at the same department.

Mahmoud obtained his M.S. degree in 2005 from Alexandra University in the area of data warehousing.

He joined the Ph.D. program at ODU in the Fall of 2005 where he worked as a teaching assistant and lab instructor. Mahmoud is interested in doing his Ph.D. research in the area of wireless and ad-hoc networking. Recently he was selected as the recipient for the award of "Outstanding Teaching Assistant" given by the Computer Science Department.
