A Bachelor's degree of Computer Science requires the successful completion of courses listed below either at ODU or transfer credits from any approved college. The computer science and math requirements have been chosen to provide exposure, balance and competence in concepts as well as in chosen applications.

Certification Programs at Old Dominion University
Certification provides credentials for,
and a direct path to, job opportunities. However the
traditional bachelor's degree provides more depth, breadth and flexibility to
graduates, as well as preparing them for wider career
opportunities.

Oracle certification background
is available through the Computer Science or the Information Systems
program. This background may be obtained as part of the degree programs or

Note: ODU Computer Science Department does not award certifications, nor does it coordinate certification exams. Student completing our course sequences, however, will be prepared to take the exam.
