Infrastructure-Aware Autonomic Manager for Change Management

Presentations:
  1. Infrastructure-Aware Autonomic Manager for IT Change Management. (PDF version)  (PPT version)

  2. Autonomic Approach to IT Infrastructure Management in a Virtual Computing Lab Environment (PDF version)  (PPT version)

  3. Infrastructure-Aware Autonomic Manager for IT Change Management Policy-2007. (PDF version)  (PPT version)

Demo Scenarios:
  1. Basic Funcationaliy Scenario:
  2.    This scenario demonstrates the capabilities of the proposed policy engine/language to express high level availability policies.

  3. Support of AND/OR Dependency Graphs:
  4.    Database replicas do exist frequently in IT environments. One way to represent Application dependency for such envrionments is through the use of AND/OR relations in Dependency Graphs. This scenario demonstrates the capabilities of the proposed policy engine / language to understand such relations through Dependency Groups and Voting Nodes.

  5. Scheduling Demo:
  6.    This scenario demonstrates the engine capability of producing non contrading schedules of requested changes.
