This is a research oriented course, students are required to assemble from scratch a working beowulf-cluster and demonstrate on it a working knowledge of bproc procedural calls as well as MPI programming.
Students will have to propose an acceptable programming project that utilizes the beowulf/cluster computing environment.

Graduate Student projects are expected to be of an appropriate difficulty.

Grade Criteria:
 Cluster Construction  20%
 Quizzes/Oral Exams  20%
 Project (written)  30%
 Project (presentation)  30%
