About Us
SAGA is a project being developed under the auspices of CS 410 at Old Dominion University. See below for biographies on each of the project team members.
Project Managers:
George Miller is a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Modeling and Simulation. He currently works for the Department of Defense as a government employee for the Defense Intelligence Agency. He has experience working in teams for 3D simulation, project development, web design, systems integration, and networking.

George's skills include C#, C++, Java, ASP, .NET, and SQL. His interests include mobile applications, social networking, video games, and 3D applications.

George is also one of our Predictive Engine Specialists.
Daniel Longest is a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science. Daniel works fulltime as a Project Manager at SNL Financial, a financial technology company. Daniel has also worked as an analyst and developer for Treasury Software, a specialist in bank reconciliation and automated clearinghouse software.

Daniel is experienced with database and usability design and a host of programming languages, including C#, C++, Java, and SQL.

Daniel is also one of our Predictive Engine Specialists.
Finance:
Aaron Evans is a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science. Currently he is employed by Norfolk Public Schools working with the NPS Strolling Silver Strings. His interests include software engineering, networking, and database management.

Aaron's skills include Java, C++, Python, Visual Basic, SQL and CSS. When he is not programming he can be found playing his guitar or reading.

Aaron is also one of our Database Experts, and a GUI Design Specialist for the project.
Marketing:
Ronald Thorne majored in Computer Science at Old Dominion University because of his interest in video games and wanting to understand how software works. He has experience with C, C++, Java, Assembly, HTML, and UNIX. Ronald plans to graduate in fall 2011. His current hobbies include video games, online research, and studying a foreign language.

Ronald is also a Data Miner Expert for the project.
Risk Management:
Roosevelt Cooper is a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science. He worked on a project in the summer of 2009 called Lumenhaus.

Roosevelt is experienced in C++, objective C, Java, and HTML.

Roosevelt also acts as our Report Expert for the project.
Matt Ellis is in his fifth year as a Computer Science major at Old Dominion University. He is familiar with C++, Java, and object-oriented design. Matt developed a video game as part of a software engineering project in spring 2010.

Matt's professional interests include software engineering, network design, and security.

Matthew also acts as one of our GUI Design Specialists.
Data Architecture:
GT Weeks is a junior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Modeling and Simulation. He has had experience with C++, Java, C#, and SQL. He enjoys learning about early 3D video games, especially Doom. He expects to graduate in May 2012.
Michael Olson is currently a senior at ODU working on a second degree in Computer Science; his previous degree was in Mathematics from Roanoke College. He has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and is proficient in C/C++, Java, C#, and Objective C. Michael's interests include system design and project management. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing video games, and working on an iPhone game.

Michael also acts as a Math Expert for the team.
Software Development:
Jeremy Dart is currently a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science. He has worked in the IT field for 3+ years and is A+, Network+, Security+, and MCSA certified. He enjoys eggnog, strategy gaming, and books by C.S. Lewis.

Jeremy is experienced in C++, Java, and HTML.

Jeremy also acts as a Security Expert for the team.
Byron Thulin is a senior at ODU in Computer Science. For the last 4 years he has worked for Diamond Power maintaining their boiler cleaning software. He has experience with C++, C#, Java, VB.net, VB 6, PHP, HTML, XML, and SQL.

Byron enjoys reading, computer games, football, hiking/camping, and sitting down to watch movies.

Byron is also one of our Predictive Engine Specialists as well as a Data Miner Expert for the project.
SAGA Webmaster:
Ian Byrnes is a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science. Ian has worked for 7 years with a fortune 500 company as a contracting developer to the Department of the Navy.

Ian is experienced with C++, C, C#, Java, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Ian is also one of our Predictive Engine Specialists as well as a Data Miner Expert for the team.
