Product Description 

The STATag system uses IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technology. This technology allows for wireless networks that are self-discovering and self-configuring. Each individual tag will be fitted with this technology and transmits data to a central server that reports the type of equipment that is hosted, as well as the dead-reckoning data to report the location of the technology.

The STATag features history tracking, tamper resistance alert technology, as well as battery and recalibration alerts when necessary.

The STATag© and Digital Inventory Systems are being developed under the Computer Productivity Initiative at Old Dominion University.
