Official Features of ThrillTracker:
-Real-Time data collection through RFID
- Data will be collected on all patrons within the park
- All patrons will have an RFID pass
- This data will be collected at rides or attractions
with RFID gates
- This data will be collected at the park entrance and exit
- Number of rides or attractions with gates determined by
the park
- General park staff will not have RFID passes
-Storage of RFID data as historical data
- Real-Time data will be archived as historical data
- Historical data will be stored on databases within the park
- Patron personal data will not be archived
-Extra features for premium patrons
- A premium patron is a park patron who pays extra (likely $5) for ThrillTracker's premium features
- Only a limited number of patrons can purchase the premium package
- This premium feature package is refered to as a ThrillPass
- There are no physical differences between the standard RFID pass and the ThrillPass
- A ThrillPass is associated with a patron's RFID pass only in the database
- A patron can upgrade to a ThrillPass at any time, if the maximum number of ThrillPasses haven't been sold
- The ThrillPass enables the use of kiosks, ride itineraries, and group features
-Patron ride itineraries
- Can only be set up at kiosks
- Can be modified only at kiosks
- Number of rides sceduled per itinerary will be limited to a maximum of 6 at a time
- Time slots will likely be 15 minute windows.
- Only premium patrons can have an itinerary
- Premium patrons can access ThrillPass lines only at the scheduled time window for the scheduled attraction
- Number of time slots available will be determined by the Thrilltracker algorithm
- Default number of time slots will be 15 per 15 minute window.

-Patron group features
- A premium patron can set up a group with other premium patrons at a kiosk
- Groups will limited to premium patrons only
- Groups will be limited to a maximum of 10 patrons
- The patron who set up the group is the group owner
- Only the group owner can modify the group
- Group memebers can view the last know location of other group members
- A group owner can schedule a ride for all members of his group
- Group members may still schedule rides individually
- Group owner can not schedule a ride for the group, if:
- One or more patrons in the group already has 6 rides scheduled
- One or more patrons in the group has a ride scheduled at the selected time
- There are not enough open time slots at the selected time for all group members to be scheduled
- All rides scheduled by the group owner for the group are stored in each group member's itinerary
- A group member can reschedule a group sheduled ride for themselves only, unless they are the group owner
-Interactive patron kiosks
- Can be used only by ThrillPass patrons
- Can only be logged into with an RFID pass
- RFID readers on kiosks have reduced range to prevent accidental logins
- Requires an account setup with 1st use with given RFID pass
- Will provide the ThrillTracker itinerary features
- Will provide support for groups of patrons
- Will provide general park information, including a map and general crowdedness of attractions

-Park staff interact with ThrillTracker through staff interface
- Staff will not access interface at the kiosks
- Staff will interface with ThrillTracker through the staff interface within the local park network
- Staff can view ride specific data (historical or current)
- Staff can view patron specific data
- Staff can perform patron account administration (itinerary management, RFID pass replacement)
- Staff can directly access the historical archives in the database to view more detailed park data
not available in the ride specific reports
ThrillTracker WILL NOT:
- Track patrons when they are not in line or on/in a ride/attraction
- Allow all patrons to purchase the premium itinerary feature
- Allow patrons to schedule unlimited numbers of rides/attractions on their itineraries
- Provide coupons or give out prizes
- Set up or seed the hundreds of thousands of RFID passes manually. They come with unique ID's already
