Preliminary Concept

      The first presentation, presenting the concept for the first time. This includes a discussion of topics such as existence of sufficient technology, refined definition of the proposed project and scope. Other topics, such as whether the scope of the project permits completion within the time span of two semesters, existence of a substantial computer component and positive societal impact are also discussed.

Feasibility

      The second presentation, addressing the likelihood of the project being successful. In order to achieve this, issues such as project objectives, detailed analysis of the technical components and software design, and management methods and team organization are discussed. Despite the technical nature of this presentation, it is not a presentation of the specific technology, other than availability, but rather a presentation of what will be done and what the project will consist of. Milestone

      The Milestone presentation also encompasses the previous two presentations as well as introducing new components such as marketing, budgeting and scheduling. Spanning the four phases of development, this presentation provides detailed accounts of financial outlays for both personnel and equipment, analysis of workflow, scheduling of experts, deliverables, and construction, documentation and cost analysis of the project.

Funding Approval

      The final presentation of Computer Based Productivity I, the Funding Approval presentation retains most of the information from the Milestone. It includes updated information and figures, as well as the completed SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Grant Proposal.

Prototype Demonstration

     The prototype demonstration presentation of Computer Based Productivity II, contains the SBIR II (Small Business Innovation Research) Grant Proposal. The presentation includes a functional prototype that will create expense reports.
