Now a days if you have a Distance Learning course you have a teacher at your university teaching the course. In the future you will have the people who write the book on the subject able to teach the course. We will have virtual universities.

The technology present is just to the point where Distance Learning is possible. In the future the technology will provide for the shortcomings todayÆs Distance Learning classroom.
What are the current problems with Distance Learning?
One of the problems with Distance Learning is the fact that you cannot prepare for class the same way as you would a traditional classroom. You cannot teach the same and you have more out of class preparation time. Another problem is lack of interaction with the student. Cannot see them face to face.
What is missing from current Distance Learning solutions?
Distance learning cannot be done over a system that is not independent from a platform. Distance Learning should be as easy a picking up a telephone. Any machine should be able to run Distance Learning.
