DICE is a
Computer Productivity Initiative (CPI) project, planned, researched, designed and presented by a group of computer science students at Old Dominion University, Spring 2006.
The Dynamic Interactive Communication Environment (DICE) is envisioned
as a stand-alone application with web functionality that will help
students succeed by building an online educational community. It will
enhance student-to-professor and student-to-student communications by
integrating voice chat, application sharing, file transfers, and instant
messages. Also included will be a forum/personal message board, a Wiki-database,
and all chat sessions can be archived for later viewing.
