Progress Report for Week of 2/2/96

We talked to Rowland Harrison and Nancy Salyer from OCCS on Thursday. They seemed to like our idea, however we found out that it won't be as simple to get the go ahead as we thought. We were told to talk to Mike Little and that he would be a valuable ally in swaying the administration to give us a thumbs up. We have also come to the conclusion that we need to talk to Mr. Little before we try to implement the scheduler, because there exists the possibility that they could look at it when it's done, say "That's nice", and then shelf it. Mr. Little will be able to tell us what we need to be working on now if we want to get ODU Online, well, online (couldn't resist the pun). I've been pretty busy this week finding a new place to live (found one!), studying, and learning Perl.
