Hardware

·	Pentium II or higher (or similar performance chip)

·	PatientView 100 Band

The PatientView 100 consists of several hardware parts.  The 
most visible part to the user is the MiniButtonTM, which is 
contained within the PatientView 100 Band. This unit contains 
the data storage device, which is where patient information 
is stored and retrieved from. 

Data can be read from the MiniButtonTM using the ButtonLinkTM. 
The ButtonLinkTM is a USB attachable unit used to read 
information from, and write information to, the MiniButtonTM.
A minimum of a Pentium II processor (or similar performance 
chip) is needed to support the remainder of the hardware 
requirements. A minimum of an 8x CDROM is needed to read the 
software package from the accompanying CD.

The PatientView 100 package will consist of a minimum of one 
MiniButtonTM and PatientView 100 Band, with additional units 
available for ordering.  ButtonLinkTM is a separate accessory 
that comes with the purchase of a PatientView 100 package.

 
Software

·	Windows 98/2k/Me/NT
·	Standard Database and Database Drivers (e.g. ODBC)
·	Office 2K package
·	800x600 resolution
·	16-bit Display colors (24-bit Display colors recommended)
·	Available disk space of 200 MB

An ODBC compliant database (consider revision) is required to 
obtain a patient’s medical information.  The database interface 
will be available through the installation of ODBC package from 
Office 2k or later versions of the package.
