1.   Use the sock program to create a path of  TCP/PIPE connections as shown in the following Figure.

2.    Run  tcpdump on  something  to capture the traffic generated to establish the path, sending “HI” from  capella to antres

and closing the path. To do so type “HI” at capella  and then type CTRL-D.

Use script to save the generated traffic in a file F and the edit F to comments on the captured traffic.

 

3.   Use  lsof  on somethingelse and  somethingmore to prove the existence of  TCP/PIPE path:  

capella  ->  somethingelse  ->  somthingmore  -> antares
