Sun Microsystems has come a long way since it started making high-powered workstations. Now they are even better known for building the servers, storage systems and software that power the net.The operating system Solaris 7 , is a fundamental requirement for all the Solaris products on Intel and SPARCTM systems. The Solaris Operating Environment has made the process of installation, administration, and configuration much more user-friendly than the previous operating systems.
