Installing Solaris 7

This article is for people who are planning to install Solaris7 on a SUNSparc Station using a CD.
Before starting the actual installation process it is recommended that

• you read all the steps
• understand the reason why each step has to be carried out
• get the necessary hardware
• get the data required to configure the SUNSparcStation

• Install and maintain a local-area network of SUN workstations running on Solaris 7 operating environment.
