Dr. McNamara is interested in the area of cognitive
psychology, including learning and memory, text and language comprehension,
skill and knowledge acquisition, individual differences in expertise and
background knowledge, knowledge representation, and cognitive modeling.
Current projects involve the investigation of methods for enhancing memory
and learning and exploring how individual differences in background knowledge
and expertise affect these methods. |

Raymond F. Morgan is a Professor of Reading
Education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Old
Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Morgan received his doctorate
degree from the University of Virginia in 1974 .Ray Morgan has been
named to Marquis Who's Who in America. He is also a member of Phi Kappa
Phi, Kappa Delta Pi, the
National Society for the Study of Education,
Directory of Distinguished Leaders in Education, and Who's Who in American
Education. He has won the Darden College of
Education Tonelson Award for Teaching, Research and Service. |
