Ø The Ph.D Candidacy:

Should be taken only during the Fall & Spring Semesters.

Special requests to have the exam any other time require the approval of the GPD.

Ø The Ph.D Defense can be taken during the any Semester (including summer).

Ø Announcements of these exams should be sent by the GPD at least one week before hand.

The announcement should include the list of all committee members and a short bio of the external member.
