The Computer Science colloquium series brings in researchers and
practitioners from around the region, country and the world to speak of topics
of interest in Computer Science.
Attendance at these colloquia is an important
part of a graduate education. Students in the Masters Program are expected to
attend at least 10 colloquium during their tenure at ODU. Make sure to bring CS Form 1 with you,
fill it out, have it signed by any attending faculty member, and return it to the
department. The signed forms will be kept in your file. The presence of 10
signed colloquium forms is a condition for graduation. In addition, the student should register for CS 690
(one credit hour course) once before graduation.
