Portfolio for Michael L. Nelson

Fall 2006 & Spring 2007

My research is primarily in digital preservation. Specific areas include the intersection of information retrieval and digital preservation; recovering lost resources from the "web infrastructure"; enhancing resources with best-effort metadata at dissemination time; and creating "resource maps" for web resources.
