The fast wide spread of smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, eBooks, etc. together with new developments in sensing capability, cloud computing, wireless communications, data storage, middleware and software are reshaping and building quickly toward a revolution in mobile computing systems. The Mobile Computing Symposium aims at providing the state-of-the-art research towards understanding the challenges and the requirements in designing, developing and evaluating novel mobile applications and systems.

 

Original papers are invited on emerging architectures and technologies in the design of mobile applications and services, Data management for mobile applications, wearable computing and new mobile devices, context sensing and activity recognition, cloud, and crowd computing, wireless local/personal/body area networks, sensor fusion, social sensing and reality mining, etc. The symposium solicits high quality and previously unpublished work in the field.
