Wireless networks, ad-hoc and sensor networks, vehicular networks, network managements, efficient cross layer designs, smart antenna protocols, peer-to-peer systems, pervasive computing, and location determination systems.

    Duties include research and development of new algorithms, architectures, and systems in the area of wireless networks, more specifically IEEE 802.11 and 802.16 networks. Lead research projects in the area of dynamic radio management for enterprise wireless networks, efficient cross layer protocols for vehicular networks, location estimation and tracking of WLAN devices, statistical characterization of VoWLAN performance parameters as function of channel access, and adaptive Neighbor Report and Intelligent Roaming. Participation in WiFi Alliance and IEEE Standardization meetings. Collaborate with universities and
    supervise several Ph.D. students.
