Mahantesh Halappanavar's PhD proposal defense is on Dec 12, 2007 at 10 A.M. in ECS 2120. His thesis title is, Algorithms for Weighted Matching and Applications in Scientific Computing. Mahantesh's thesis committee members include: Professors Jessica Crouch, Steve Olariu, and Mohammed Zubair. Dr. Bruce Hendrickson from Sandia National Labs is the external member of his committee, and the Chair is Professor Alex Pothen. All are welcome to attend the defense.
