| I am a PhD candidate in computer science at
Old Dominion University. I received
my B.S. in
Computer Science from BRAC University in
2008.
My primary research
interest
is in Stochastic
System
Modeling. I am currently working with Dr. Stephan Olariu on
modeling Stochastic Epidemics. Lately, I am looking at Stem cell
proliferation, growth and homeostatis. In August, 2012
I have
successfully completed PhD proposal defense and hope to defend my thesis
titled "Modeling tissue cell population dynamics" by the end of
2013.
Past projects include work in parallel implementation of asian option pricing in IBM cell programming environment under Dr. Mohammad Zubair.

I am an avid
Soccer(internationally
Football)
fan and player. I have been following AC Milan since early
90s.
Ever
since I
joined ODU
, I have
played in each of the intermural soccer tournaments
and all the time my team is improving. Spring '11 was our best one as
we
reached the men's final.
