| College of Sciences Newsletter | Edition 21 | June 10 , 2004 |
| Back to Alumni News The College of Sciences is proud of its approximate 13,200 alumni. We are always interested in learning what our graduates are doing and where they are. If you would like to be involved in college or university events, the Office of Alumni Relations is the vehicle for you. The Office of Alumni Relations has recently moved into a new Alumni Center, which features a 1,000-square-foot social area, complete with hardwood floor, fireplace and display cases. Formerly occupied by the Office of Public Safety, the renovated facility at 49th Street and Hampton Boulevard is large enough to host up to 150 guests. A tea room opens onto a garden area at the north end of the center, and a brick patio will serve as a site for outdoor functions. For more information on the Office of Alumni Relations, log onto their web site at www.odualumni.org and browse through alumni events, benefits and services. While you are there, update your information and check out the new alumni chapters. Register for their online newsletter. If you are interested in sharing information with the College of Sciences through Scire, e-mail Phyllis Brown at pbrown@odu.edu and she will include your submission (text and photos) in the next edition. Also, tell us what you would like to see in future Scires that are not already included. Send comments and suggestions to Phyllis Brown at the above e-mail address.
