Johanna Merritt Wu, PhD. (1997) has recently co-authored "Marriage Can Be Forever-Preparation Counts!" It is a hands-on workbook designed to engage readers in self-reflection, romance, humor, and practical application of spiritual concepts that apply to the marriage preparation process. Wu, an organizational psychologist, also consults in business management, leadership, group facilitation, and the cultural components of mergers and acquisitions. She and her husband, Steven Wu (PhD., Economics, Cal Berkeley), live in Columbus, Ohio.

Not only did Dr. Wu earn a doctorate from Old Dominion University, she also earned a master's in general psychology here in 1993. Prior to coming to ODU, she earned a bachelor's in psychology from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. The Wus are self-employed, Merritt Wu Associates, as consultants.
