I spent most of the month preparing for my 27 months in Tanzania and visiting friends and family. I left September 19th for DC and leave tomorrow, the 21st, for Tanzania. This past week I drove down to Florida which will be my home base while I live in Africa. Then I arrived in DC for the start of my training. There are about 40 people going to Tanzania and all are going to teach. Most are in their 20s and many fresh out of undergraduate school. These past 2 days have been great; I have met many interesting people and we had our nerves calmed and minds prepared for the next 3 months of training in Tanzania.
