This month started with the closing of the school. The next day I rode out to Makendeko, a village an hour from Newala. So I used the treacherous Makonde Plateau path which I fell on last time. Again, I took many pictures. You can see the spot I fell, the path I then had to climb/walk down, then back up , and the large amounts of sand you have to push your bike through. The visit was nice and relaxing but soon I was back in the village grading, filling out parent report forms, and finishing other work to wrap up the term. Only one term left; it's hard to believe. The rest of the time I spent hanging out in the village. Yup, nothing too big. But it's only the middle of the month. Soon I go to climb Kilimanjaro. Until then, Justin |
