Hi everyone,
We're back in Tanzania. Sorry we didn't have many stories after Anna's surgery. She pretty much had to rest so I was our pick up/delivery guy for food. But she's doing better. The surgeon said it'd be about a 4 week recovery so we're taking it slow.
The hotel we were in had a TV though with a movie channel so we saw a lot of movies. But their scheduling was pretty terrible. "Office Space" and "Casino Royale" in the early morning while we had to be at the hotel's breakfast. Then during the day they showed stuff like "Ghost Rider" or "Unaccompanied Minors" which in my opinion are pretty awful. You'd think they would save gems for the evening, especially Fridays and Saturdays but, no, it was more crap like "Butterfly Effect 2" and "The Covenant."
On my walks I did become familiar with non-American car brands and their symbols like Peugot, Renault, Opel, GWM, Afla Romeo, Citroen; and unfamiliar models such as Toyota Condo, Mercedes A140, Chevy Spark, and 4 door Smart cars. All small cars minus a few. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these cars come state-side pretty soon given or maybe a handful of them already have.
So that's all the 'stories' I have from our remaining time in South Africa. We're glad to be in our home country now. Hopefully, home is just a few days away,
Justin
