  The Unix Programming Environment

This page contains a summary of the necessary information to submit your first programming project.
Since there are many different approaches to fulfilling this assignment, we will only list the common ones.
Although there exist some excellent tools for accessing UNIX systems from PCs, we will only discuss the simple tools which come with WINDOWS 95/98.

Making Contact: Since there are many ways to access the DCS UNIX machines, we will cover the most common ways here. If you have a different situation with which you need help, contact your instructor.
