Project Interview
During the project interview, you need to make a case for your
grade. The project is graded both on the final accomplishment as well as the
lessons learned during its preparation. During the interview I will ask you for
the grade that you believe you have earned for the term project. You will need
to provide evidence supporting your claim. Here are some of the criteria that I
use when evaluating the project
- Sharing solutions with another student
- Technologies/Concepts learned (even if not used in final project)
- Technologies demonstrated (small programs, experiments)
- References to good source material - annotated references are the best
- Clear statement of problem - in the end did you have a good set of
requirements
- Software Architecture - did you find a good set of technologies to solve
your problem
- Usefulness of web site - well organized, useful to other students
- I will ask you to judge best site of other students
- What use did you make of present/past student sites
- deliverables - zip of web site which should contain
- any source code developed
- Lessons learned (essential if project is not working)
- I will also ask questions about improving the course
