Short Biography

Wenlu Zhang is currently a visiting scholar in the School of Electrical Enginering and Computer Science, Washington State University. Zhang obtained the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University in 2016, advised by Prof. Shuiwang Ji. Her research interests include machine learning, data mining, computational biology, and computational neuroscience.


Our DIVE team is ranked #1 on the synaptic cleft detection and #2 on the neuron segmentation tasks of the MICCAI Challenge on Circuit Reconstruction from Electron Microscopy Images (CREMI)!
