ABOUT US

The customer’s experience is an essential element of any business. Happy and satisfied customers are those who will continue their patronage to a business for its services or goods. This is a challenge to restaurant owners because customer experience is dependent on many individual factors. One of the challenges faced by restaurant owner is that their staff spends too much time with certain individual patrons, thus causing other patrons to wait unnecessarily. As a result, patrons are dissatisfied and restaurants get negative word-of-mouth and possibly, a loss in profit.

Our proposed solution to the problem is the Computer Aided Dining (CAD) system. This system provides restaurant patrons with the option of having their orders taken by a server or by doing it themselves using a touch screen system mounted on the dining table. This system allows better coordination between servers, hosts, kitchen crew, cleanup crew and management. With increased coordination, the entire dining process can be sped up, thus allowing a higher rate of table turnovers. This works both in favor of restaurant owner and patron.

Our goal is to help restaurants increase their level of customer service and also for better customer dining experience. When customers walk into a restaurant, they expect efficient service. So, our system allows for better customer service the minute patrons are shown to their seats until the check is paid.

The CAD system will increase communication among the different groups of employees and the employer. With this, restaurant patrons enjoy a better service from you in a quicker manner. Repeat customers are important in any business at all, but especially so in a restaurant business. The CAD system is the future of the dining experience, allowing increased customer satisfaction and increased profits.
