As a student in CS classes, you are expected to monitor your CS Dept email. Of course, you probably already have one or more email accounts that you check on a regular basis, and you may not want to add another to that list.

This document explains how to forward mail from your CS account to another email address where you prefer to read your mail.

Starting in Fall 2008, most ODU CS email addresses were reassigned to the Dept's Windows-based Exchange server. All new student accounts are now set up with their email going to that server. Some older student accounts may still use the Unix mail server.

The procedure to set up forwarding of your email depends on which server currently receives your mail. If you aren't sure, go to the CS Dept. home page, look under “Online Services”, and check both the "Exchange Server" and "Squirrel Mail" (Unix server) links.
