Study Guide for First Test
The test will be divided into three parts, although not necessarily equal credit:
The first part will focus on terminology. You will be given a list of terms and asked a number of questions in which you are to choose the best term from the list. The Glossary is a good place to study for this part.
The second part will involve changes and additions to the examples discussed in class. I will give you copies of the examples with each line numbered. You will be expected to perform tasks such as
Add: a new attribute to example 2 which represents .... give the prototype and definition of a selector and modifier function for that attribute. Tell where you would add your new code (give the line number after which you would add each piece of code).
Modify: Change example 1 so that it checks ..... Name which lines of the example you need to modify and where you would add new lines.
Delete: Change example 4 so it no longer does .... List all lines that you delete and all lines you change.
The third part will be short answers to questions which involve the concepts discussed in the course. Some of these short answers will use the examples. For example, which lines in example 2 are for the default constructor.
