Lab Assignment 3: Multiple Readers

Currently Version 3 limits access to a particular message folder to one client at a time

(although multiple clients can simulataneously access different folders).

Change version 3 by incorporating a solution to the multiple readers/single writer problem.

• Propose a solution to this problem given the limited implementation in version 3 (e.g. no editing of messages)
• Favor a solution which allows maximum read access
• Never sacrifice the integrity of the message folder.
• Don't worry much about the user interface, focus on synchronization issues.
• Submit your implementation solution (including a makefile).
