For automatically graded assignments, a copy of the grade report will be sent to you via email as soon as the grading is completed. If you miss or lose that email, you can get copies of you most recent reports on each assignment via the Detailed Reports
button below.
You can find a summary of your scores for tests in your course area on Blackboard, under “My Grades” (updated daily).
Most grades are normalized. Your normalized scores and a letter grade estimate are included in the “Scores and Statistics” report above.
If yours is among the first submissions on an assignment, be aware that your normalized score may change significantly until enough other submissions have come in to stabilize the average and deviation statistics.
That letter grade estimate may also change significantly as the first few submissions come in.
The letter grade is, until the end of the semester, only an estimate based upon the grading scales employed in prior semesters. The instructor may either raise or lower the scale should it become apparent that the overall quality of the work turned in by this semester’s class is overall better or worse than typical.
