Finding Your Grades

• Your scores for all graded activities can be found in Canvas, under “Grades”.

• For quizzes and exams, you can view the details of your grade and the instructor’s solution and notes, if any, by clicking on your score in Canvas.

  • There may be a short delay between when the grades are posted and when the detailed reports are released.

• For programming assignments, you can view your detailed grade report by returning to the assignment page and clicking the “View your grade report” link.

When will Things be Graded?

• For programming assignments, you can request a preliminary grade report, after you have pushed changes to your repository, by clicking on the appropriate link on the assignment page.

  • Within an hour, you should be able to see a new grade report by returning to the assignment page and clicking the “View your grade report” link.
  • If this is not your first such request, you will continue to see the old report until the new report is available.

• Non-programming assignments, quizzes, and exams require manual grading.

  We try to have these graded within a week of the due date.

  Inquiries about grades on these before that week is up will not be welcomed and will likely be answered with nothing more than a link to this page.
