The master device utilizes a
programmable database for up to
seven slave items. The device
itself can be built into many
different systems and cases. For
instance, a cell phone could
affordably make use of the Commo
Neo. The product could also be
built into a belt or a wrist
watch. The possibilities are
endless, as this device is a
hermit crab that can be put into
many different shells.
Although there are many
reminder-systems on the market,
none of them notify the user that
an item is missing. The Commo
Neo, on the other hand,
continually monitors the distance
between a master and its slaves in
a Bluetooth network. When the
master device (carried by the
user) detects that one or more of
the slaves (a tag attached to the
item being tracked) are out of
range, the device alerts the user
and notifies him/her that an item
has been left behind.
