Thomas Kennedy is a lecturer professor at Old Dominion University. He also has a M.S. in Computer Science from Old Dominion University. He excels at working directly with students, outlining course information, and knowing the most current Computer Science practices.
Colten Everitt is a Computer Scientist currently employeed with NAVSEA CDSA Dam Neck DoN. He is a senior undergraduate student majoring in computer science and minoring in cyber security. He plans to graduate in May 2018. He is experienced in developing and testing products for the United States Department of Navy, from simple bugs in code to full-fledged application development. Skilled in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Java, Python, C++, Objective C, Swift, and many others. jQuery, Foundation, and React are all frameworks used by him to develop websites. Other tools used include GitHub, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Eclipse, Code::Blocks, Xcode, FireZilla, and WordPress.
Casey Batten is a senior student at Old Dominion University seeking a Bachelor's in Computer Science. He has had a passion for computers and all things tech since he was a kid, and couldn't be happier to be making his way into a field that is at the forefront of almost every industry in the world. Working with his team in Senior Design, he hope to build software that will help lower the barrier of entry into the field that he cares so much about.
Peter Riley is a senior majoring in computer science. He received his Associate's Degree in computer science from Tidewater Community College in December of 2015 and transfered to Old Dominion University in fall of 2016. He is a member of the Cyber Security Student Association, and he intend to graduate in spring of 2018.
Kevin Santos is a senior student at Old Dominion University seeking a Bachelor's in Computer Science through distance learning. He has an associates in Business Admin and Computer Science. He started as a business major at a local community college here in Richmond. However, he was really passionate about the hardware and software aspects of computers and mobile devices. Hopefully, after obtaining his bachelor's degree at ODU, he will pursue a masters in computer science and or computer engineering online. The areas of CS that he is interested in are machine learning, AI, data science, databases, app development, and embedded systems.
Joel Stokes is a senior at Old Dominion University working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He has a strong passion for programming and software development, and hopes to pursue it as a career. He is the Vice President of ODU's Video Game Design and Development Club, and has been working in game development for 3 years. He believes that games can be a powerful medium for education and learning logic and programming fundamentals through a game can have a vital impact to a child's future.
Matthew Tuckson is a senior at Old Dominion University with a major in Computer Science. Although he entered into the computer science field rather late, he's learned a lot over the last few years and has enjoyed the process. He plans to continue to learn and grow in the field and ideally get a career in the field as well. He will be moving to Australia after he graduates. And looking forward to continuing his education and gaining a career down under.
Nathaniel DeArce is a senior at Old Dominion University working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He started here at ODU in Fall 2015 and intends to graduate in Spring 2018. He is still trying to figure out what path he wants to take from here after he graduates. He is particularly interested in AI and computer graphics.
Daniel Dang is a senior majoring in computer science at Old Dominion University. He enjoys learning about web development and business. He is currently interning part time at Peraton, a government defense contractor, where he helps provide cloud computing solutions. In his free time, he enjoys reading, napping, and exploring new places.
Tyler Johnson is a full time student and senior majoring in Computer Science. He received his Associates degree from Northern Virginia Community College before transferring to ODU. He is also currently working full-time as an IT Support Specialist at an airline catering company. However, he is looking to move towards more of a software engineering role after he graduates. He plans on graduating in the summer of next year.
