Welcome to the Accessible Computing Lab Website

We build and design technology to make digital content accessible and usable for people with disabilities.

About the lab

The Accessible Computing Lab at Old Dominion University is led by Dr. Vikas Ashok, an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department.

Our group conducts research in accessible computing, an interdisciplinary field that crosscuts Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Through our research, we aim to make interactive computing devices not only more accessible to people with visual disabilities, but also more usable so that this community of users too can easily benefit from technological advancements as sighted persons.
