Project History

Fall of 2004 the team was assembled to come up with an idea for a computer program the could make some money in the real world. After each member of the team presented an idea we all selected the idea presented by Devin Hurst. The Idea was to develop software to assist restaurants and their management in the everyday task of tracking re-prepared menu items. This software was later named th Restaurant Assistant and research was done on what the market should be along with how much it would cost to build.

In the spring of 2005 we began the development of the prototype. The prototype will demonstrate the major functions of the program. The prototype will be demonstrated at the final exam time for the cs411 class during the time alotted for us to present the entire project.
