Dr. Jayaranthnar recieved his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2016.
He recently joined the faculty at ODU in Fall 2018. He holds interest in the use and development of data science, information retrieval, and machine learning techniques for effetive and effifient adaptive information access.

Jesse studied music in college, becoming a musician by education, but during the ".com boom" he became a technologst by passion and carreer.
He has worked with many different types of technologies, in multiple businesses from startups to large enterprise organizations.
